We open July celebrating Independence Day, and for many the feeling continues throughout July with barbecues, picnics, and other summer fun. Our body’s digestive fire is at its lowest in July. Therefore, it is best to eat light and easy to digest foods. Come learn more about our summertime needs for good health and to make a colorful corn, radish and jicama salad served with a black bean burger that will honor any backyard BBQ. Compliment it with plenty of watermelon for a cooling summer evening!
