Sometimes called dumplings, Steamed Vegetable Buns are quite common in Chinese cuisines. Their soft, inviting, bread-like exterior cradles a variety of fillings – meat, vegetables and spices – and they can be made in a variety of ways, although steaming is most common.  Using wheat flour and yeast, we’ll make the dough to hold the fillings we’ll create from fresh seasonal ingredients such as scallions, cilantro, Napa cabbage and mushrooms.  Then, we’ll make our own yummy dipping sauces and enjoy our creations.
